The workshop will be facilitated by Terry Baer, Hazardous Waste Unit Manager at ADEQ and will be interactive allowing attendees to use myDEQ online services to process permits and submit reports in the presence of ADEQ personnel from several sections.  The feedback received during the  workshop will help ADEQ improve and streamline the online service.

STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION

EPAZ is hosting a student poster competition and selected posters will be on display and judged during the conference.  The deadline to submit a topic summary and poster outline is January 5, 2020.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st Place, 2nd Place and People’s Choice posters.  To learn more and to submit an entry, click here.

2020 EPAZ SCHOLARSHIPS

Encouraging students who have invested their future in the environment, EPAZ awards over $8,000 each year to graduate and undergraduate students in environmental programs in Arizona.  The deadline to submit an application is December 31, 2019 and the recipients will be announced at the conference.  To learn more and to apply online, click here.
