Holiday Charity Drive

Virtual Food & Clothing Drive

November 12 - December 18, 2020

At EPAZ we are saddened by the prospect of not hosting our annual holiday mixer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we didn't want the charities that we serve each year to go without our help especially during these challenging times for our nation and more specifically Arizona. If you’ve had the opportunity to participate in one of our Community Service events, you know the level of impact we make as a team.  In 2019 we collected and donated 778 lbs of food and $1,475 in cash.

During the holiday season, we are hosting a charity drive that benefits 3 local deserving organizations; Andre House of Hospitality, Matthew's Crossing Food Bank and St. Mary's Food Bank.  We hope you and/or your organization will consider making a cash donation through the EPAZ Virtual Food Drives we've setup for each food bank.  Cash donations actually stretch your dollar further than what it purchases at a grocery store. In fact, $1 provides enough food for 7 meals for our hungry neighbors.  Below you will find links to each food bank where you will be able to make a direct donation.

Andre House of Hospitality

The Andre House of Hospitality is an organization dedicated to serving the basic needs of the homeless population in Phoenix through the provision of food, clothes, and showers.  Please start collecting items of clothing that you would like to donate.  Coats, jackets, sweatshirts with hoods, socks and blankets are especially needed, however any clothing is appreciated.

Clothing can be dropped off at the Andre House of Hospitality (213 S. 11th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85007) or can be picked up by a volunteer from EPAZ.  Please call Rick Haskins at (480) 229-7757, if you should need clothing items picked up.

Sponsor a Drop-Off Location

If you would like to sponsor a drop-off location, EPAZ will recognize your organization's logo on our website and on future email communications to promote the charity drive.  Contact us at [email protected].

St. Mary's Food Bank

Known as the world's first food bank, St. Mary's Food Bank has been filling empty stomachs in the Arizona community for 50 years.  St. Mary’s is truly a community-based organization. Individual donors, corporate donors, and private grants help feed hungry individuals and families in our area. Serving 9 of Arizona’s 15 counties, we are committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

Matthew's Crossing Food Bank

Matthew's Crossing Food Bank has served the East Valley for over 18 years.  The donated money will purchase food to feed children, adults, and seniors.  Donations are tax deductible.  Matthew’s Crossing strives to serve their neighbors in need with compassion, so they can preserve their dignity, and have hope for a healthier and happier future.  Matthew’s Crossing states that 1 in 4 children will go to bed hungry tonight; that 1 in 5 adults don’t know where their next meal will come from; and that 1 in 7 seniors need emergency food assistance right now.

Through strategic community partnerships, a commitment to increasing awareness, and a diverse family of volunteers, both St. Mary's and Matthew’s Crossing Food Banks continue to serve more of our neighbors in need, year over year.

This virtual food drive will be an opportunity to give back and make an immediate impact by providing financial support to both Food Banks.  Choose a link below and make a direct donation.
