National Public Lands Day Trash Cleanup - Lower Salt River

Dear EPAZ Members,

In conjunction with Natural Restorations, help clean up trash and recyclables along the riverbanks of the Lower Salt River as part of National Public Lands Day activities. This is a day to get outside, give back, and make an immediate impact by helping remove trash and recyclables from this natural area.

Volunteers will meet at the Phon D Sutton Recreation Area. We will be picking up trash in the parking lot, picnic area, and the trails that lead down to the Salt River.

Volunteers should wear appropriate shoes/boots and comfortable water/hiking/outdoor apparel. It is recommended to have a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water container.
