Learn about the holistic relationship between environmental compliance and pollution insurance coverage. Strong compliance programs can help reduce and, in some class, eliminate risk that allows companies to get quality insurance at affordable premium costs.  This presentation covers construction, service, and manufacturing sectors. Regardless of if you are a consultant or the individual at your company responsible for compliance, the role we play as EHS professionals is vital. When done correctly, both companies and communities’ greatly benefit.

Kent Francis has over 30 years of experience working both in the Environmental Health & Safety sector as his company’s primary individual responsible for compliance and in the Loss Control Insurance industry. He has personally written and managed air, wastewater discharge, NPDES / SWPPP permits and has assisted clients with their pollution insurance policies issues. Kent served as a Watershed Manager for the Lower Minnesota River District that is responsible for reviewing and approving various environmental permits for residential developments, various industries involved in using barges to move product, and the Minneapolis International Airport.
